Casa Del Riccio B&B is born in an ancient country house recently restored and situated in the center of the picturesque village of Calaone. It is tucked away amongst the greenness of the Parco dei Colli Euganei, surrounded by vineyards and chestnut woods.
The Casa rises at an altitude of 200 meters, on a natural terrace in the first hill with a breathtaking view of the plain and of the Este town, which was the cradle of civilization of the Paleovenetian and rich in history and traditions.
In a clear day the Tuscan Emilian Appennines are easy to see.
The house, facing south, is very sunny and welcoming.
It has a strategic position between the cities of Venice, Verona, Ferrara, Bologna, Vicenza and Mantua, each of them reachable in less than an hour, a short way from Padua and from the Abano and Montegrotto thermal zone.
The hedgehog is a sweet and cunning little animal. It is both the symbol of the Parco Regional dei Colli Euganei and the mascot of the house.
The place is quiet and surrounded by a panoramic garden where in spring you can have your open air breakfast, wine and typical products tasting evenings, jazz concerts, open air art exhibitions that Patrizia often organizes to endear her guests. Dogs friendly.
