A beautiful building built to the 700 located in the historic center of medieval Basque. The residence was purchased at the beginning of the century by my grandfather Bernard who lived with his family, his wife Pauline, and son, my father, Lucio.
Our family continued to live there until 1986. Now the house is completely renovated and is back to host part of the family. The restoration of the house began in June of 2011 and ended in February of 2012, making the building a beautiful and welcoming home. Trivia: The house has undergone intense historical moments, was the mayor's house during the Fascist era and was seized by German troops to house the command during World War II.
The house is located 10 km from Orvieto and 7 from the highway. It is situated in a splendid panoramic position overlooking the valley of the Tiber. An ideal place for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding, is in a position to allow a few minutes to reach pools, tennis courts and sports centers. By car you can get to Rome in one hour, an hour and 40 in Florence, Todi and Viterbo in 20 minutes in 40. Also connected by rail and bus. The house is located above the Tiber River to the park where you can take boat trips along the gorges of Forello, picturesque river bends.
