Antico Monastero is our small and friendly Bed and Breakfast in the heart of the historic center of Anacapri, a wide pedestrian area not disturbed by traffic noise. At Bed and Breakfast Antico Monastero we put at your disposal two suites and one standard cozy and independent, able to accommodate up to 4 people. Incorporated in the monumental church of San Michele Arcangelo in Anacapri, famous for its wonderful majolica floor depicting the Expulsion from Eden,the B&B was the nuns' choir of the former monastery of San Michele. Restored in typical style of Capri in 1600 and furnished with that love for details that you only have for your home, the rooms are equipped with bathroom, air conditioning, coffee/tea maker, table dining, chairs, small library, TV, wireless Internet access and dock station iPhone/iPad/iPod. One of the suites, then, has a private terrace, the romantic Terrace of the Seagulls with a glazed terracotta floor with gulls in flight and the unique view of the domes of the neighboring church of San Michele.

The B&B Antico Monastero of Anacapri is located in the central Piazza San Nicola, adjacent to Via Orlandi, Anacapri's main center where rise the main bars, restaurants, shops and pharmacies. The monumental church of San Michele, with which your room will share the facade, is just beyond the wall, visiting it you will see the grates that originally put into communication the church with the Coretto. The parish church of St. Sophia and the historic district of Boffe are nearby. The convenient location allows to reach in a few minutes of walking the Villa San Michele of Axel Munthe, the chairlift to Monte Solaro, the Art Gallery of Red House, the entrance of the paths to the Belvedere of the Migliera and the Valley of Cetrella and bus stops to the beaches of Marina Grande, Marina Piccola, the Lighthouse and the Blue Grotto.
