The "Palmento B&B" is adjacent to the ancient town’s central square. The B&B gets its name from an ancient little “palmento” or "millstone" (a space where they used to perform the traditional smashing of the grapes with bare feet) and where today a little museum has been built containing ancient photos, objects from traditional Sicilian culture.

The B&B is situated in a cool pine forest (Nebrodi Park) and is only a 15 minute drive to beautiful, crystalline water beaches of sea (Capo D’Orlando), in front of Eolie Islands.

The restaurants have exquisite recipes that have been used for generations. Typical of the area is the black pig of Nebrodi, used to make various kinds of sausages characterized by the flavor of wild fennel seeds.
